Can you use purple balls in handball?

Does anyone use pink balls? the mother's day/cancer ones by wilson/prince?

• After losing some of my green balls and going through the frustration with trying to determine/retrieve which balls are mine after they land on to the other courts, i came up with a great idea..... i went to buy pink balls! i know its fishy but not only they work just as good but now i will never lose my balls again and i will easily tell which balls are mine...isnt that great?! lol what do u think of this idea?

  I use them on occasion, but they take a bit of getting used to. I wear darker or tinted sunglasses a lot when playing, so sometimes the pink doesn't stand out as well for me. I'm just so much more used to the brighter optic yellow (it's not actually green, it looks like yellow highlighter that has dried). Given more time, I could get used to them, and they do stand out. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more choices in shade of tennis balls.
