Here are the tournaments that will be played from January 3rd to January 9th: ATP: 2011 Brisbane International(ATP 250)-Brisbane,Australia Top Seeds(Name/Seed/Rank): Robin Söderling 1(5) Andy Roddick 2(8) Fernando Verdasco 3(9) Mardy Fish 4(16) Marcos Baghdatis 5(20) Feliciano López 6(32) Florian Mayer 7(37) Denis Istomin 8(40) My pick:Andy Roddick...I know Soderling will be the favorite,but Soderling is always out of form and sleepy in the beginning of the season,while Roddick plays his best in the first few months,so I pick him to win...Other favorites are Verdasco,who has already done good in Brisbane and of course Soderling who is the 1st seed.Marcos Baghdatis could also do well if he is healthy... 2011 Aircel Chennai Open(ATP 250)-Chennai,India Top Seeds(Name/Seed/Rank): Tomas Berdych 1(7) Marin Cilic 2(14) Stanislas Wawrinka 3(21) Richard Gasquet 4(30) Jeremy Chardy 5(45) Janko Tipsarevic 6(49) Robin Haase 7(65)*** Xavier Malisse 8(61)*** My pick:Could be anyone really...Berdych and Cilic are the top 2 seeds,but they are playing so bad.I don't know if that is going to change or not,but if it does(hopefully)and they both play well I think Berdych will definitely have the advantage...Besides these two,I can't really see anyone winning it... 2011 Qatar ExxonMobil Open(ATP 250)-Doha,Qatar Top Seeds(Name/Seed/Rank): Rafael Nadal 1(1) Roger Federer 2(2) Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 3(13) Nikolay Davydenko 4(22) Ernests Gulbis 5(24) Viktor Troicki 6(28) Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 7(33) Philipp Kohlschreiber 8(34) My pick:I really hope Rafa wins,but I think Federer will.He is just on fire...The ways he has been playing since Wimbledon is amazing,especially at the ATP World Tour Finals...His serve seems unstoppable...The other favorite is without a doubt Nadal.If he gets to his best once again he will win it despite Federer's great game...So the winner will be either Federer or Nadal-None of the rest players can win...lol 2011 Medibank International Sydney(ATP 250)-Sidney-Australia Top Seeds(Name/Seed/Rank): Sam Querrey 1(18) Marcos Baghdatis 2(20) Ernests Gulbis 3(24) Richard Gasquet 4(29) Viktor Troicki 5(30)*** Feliciano Lopez 6(32) Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 7(33) Yen-Hsun Lu 8(35) WC(wildcard)-Juan Martin Del Potro(259) ***-Viktor Troicki is ranked 28th according to the ATP rankings,but he is the the seed instead of 4th seed for a still unknown reason... My pick:Marcos Baghdatis-Just like Roddick,he likes the beginning of the season,he is very motivated and I don't think the other players competing are going to be in-form at their first tournament...I also think Troicki will be a contender,because he had a great fall in 2011 and he also won the Davis Cup,plus he is playing Doha(just like Baghdatis),so he will be ready for Sidney... 2011 Heineken Open(ATP 250)-Auckland,Australia Top Seeds(Name/Seed/Rank): Rankings-not known yet. David Ferrer 1 Nicolas Almagro 2 John Isner 3 Albert Montanes 4 Juan Monaco 5 David Nalbandian 6 Juan Carlos Ferrero 7 Thomaz Bellucci 8 My pick:David Ferrer. ***-the rankings of some players have been mixed on Wikipedia,but the seeding will remain the same... I'm gonna go with some outsiders for the fun of it :) Roddick Wawrinka Federer Gulbis Ferrer I want Roger to win the AO so i'm gonna have to say him. However Rafa certainly has a good chance too.

I didnt even known who would be playing the pre-Aussie Open tournaments lol (I am lolling too much amnt I? lol) anyway... Brisbane - MARCOS BAGHDATIS: Suuuuuper risky pick I choose, but hey! marcos has been training hard so I think this will be the 1st appearance of Baghdatis 2.0 (I'm starting to sound like mexi! XD) Chennai - There is a really open field, I would go with WAWRINKA since he is from my fav players and I dont see anyone else winning it.. maybe berdych but you never know, the start of the season always has surprises Doha - WHAT A TOURNAMENT THIS ONE!! I would be stupid if I wouldnt pick either Rafa or Roger (btw why cant they go to different tournaments?? it would hurt to see roger losing so early to Rafa). I'm gonna say ROGER FEDERER, I am really optimistic today (Idk, christmas is affecting me), so maybe by the time when the tournament starts Rafa would turn into my pick Sydney - RICHARD GASQUET: He needs to win something... I think he can do well in 2011. Hope he trained well this off-season... if not my pick is really bad :S Auckland - DAVID NALBANDIAN: He has been playing a lot of exhos this month (he played Safin, Chela and Monaco on a tournament exhibition in the country...) and he's always dangerous, so I pick him. My pick for the AO is Rafa Nadal. (you know who I will be rooting for...)
