I want to join a girls tennis team, where should I join?

I'm a sophomore in high school and I already missed girls tennis tryouts, but i haven't played before so it doesn't matter. I want to join a girls tennis team over like the summer so I can get better and tryout next year at my high school. The problem is that I don't where to join, how to join, I don't know any leagues. I want somewhere that a has a good coach too, I live around Woodbridge, Virginia. Does anyone have any suggestion for me, where should I start? If you could give me specific teams that would be great! Also can you give me any beginner advice, first time being on a team, stuff like that.. Thanks

Call tennis clubs in your area, and ask about youth teams. Also call local Chamber of Commerce numbers or Park and Recreation offices if there are any and ask about summer programs.
