Who had Tom Brady as their fantasy QB?

The QB question of the modern era... Tom Brady or Peyton Manning... whose the best QB in the league?

  • I say Tom Brady... let me explain.... Tom Brady... he has three superbowl rings... two games in which he was MVP. He led his team to their first superbowl in his first year as a starter. Peyton Manning while yes he has phenominal regular season stats has that Pro Bowl offense and has had it for most of his career and he has only just won a superbowl... where Tom Brady has won three with far less on offense that changes up every year. Tom Brady puts up great regular season numbers with these inferior offenses and then plays at his best with them in the playoffs... where Peyton Manning struggles the most with that pro bowl offense. There's the defense argument... well Tom Brady knows how to control the offense too keep his defense rest and keep them most effective... Peyton Manning trys to always make the big play with his big offense... it does work, but it tires his defense... definitely in the playoffs against better teams. With all this... whose the best? All bias aside...

    Brady for the same reason you said. With the offense he is given he has done a great job leading his team to the playoff every year except that one year between superbowls. While Manning has a superbowl caliber offense in Clark, Wayne, and Harrison. Who has Brady had? An aging Corey Dillon?

I would say Peyton Manning. The only reason why Brady won all those superbowls was because of the Patriots defense. In the championship game against the Patriots the Colts defense finally stepped up and sealed the game with an interception. Peyton Manning was amazing on the game winning drive and when Brady had his chance to get at least a field goal he blew it with an interception. If Manning would have been the quarterback for the Patriots he would have had all those rings as well. Now that Manning is starting to get a great defense around him he should be able to win more championships in the near future. Do I see a repeat?

Okay... well... to start off... this is coming from a Colts fan. Peyton Manning is the most overrated player to ever play football. It has been hard watching the Patriots and the Colts play each other over these past several years because while I wanted the Colts to win I would sit there thinking to myself "Why couldn't Tom Brady be OUR QB?" He obviously understands the game better then Peyton... and he's a better leader and all around better person. Brady appreciates his fans while Peyton does not appreciate us... I mean I guess I could chalk this up as a bad day for him but when I went to an autograph session in Indy 3 years back I overheard him talking to his publicist saying "I hate doing this ****... I shouldn't be obligated to do any of this." Class act we got on our team. Tom Brady has less to work with and he still puts up phenominal stats without even wanting too... just wanting his team to win and being able to control the clock and he has won three superbowls ... with our offense we should of have like 7 by now... but Peyton ruins it for us every year... thank god for the TEAM this year! Sorry everyone... Brady has everything over Manning... the leadership, the clutch plays AND the skill.... you have to own more skill to be able to play so clutch with less in big game situation... sorry guys.

Tom Brady easily. Peyton would be nothing without that stellar offensive line. Brady knows how to flat out win games.

Well first you must know that anybody is better than Peyton manning. So if those two are my only choice i guess tom brady.

peyton is the better quarterback in every aspect of the game but brady has come through in the clutch and made the plays to get rings. i'd choose peyton all year and brady in the superbowl

you cant argue that the only reason tom won his SBs is because of the "D".you can say the same thing about manning, the only reason why he won was because of his good core of receivers. tom had nothing and look how far he took his team

Sorry man, its Manning. The Patriots won because of their great defensive ability, so you can't chalk up the Superbowl wins to Brady. Peyton Manning is slightly more mobile, harder to sack, more accurate and a little bit more powerful with his arm. Think of it this way: If the Patriots had Manning and the Colts had Brady, would the Patriots still have won their 3 Superbowls? Of course. And they would have won even more regular season games. Would the Colts with Brady have won their Superbowl? Probably not.
