What is Fantasy Football?

  • I hear all this talk about Fantasy Football and I just don't have a clue of what it is? Any answers out there?

    It is a fun game either played online or by caclutlating stats offline like in the days before internet. Since the internet exploded, it is very easy to play. You sign up for a league to play in (yahoo sports for example) and can draft and trade players. You have to make the choice wether to sit a player who has been ice cold or for another one who heating up at the risk of making a wrong decision and failing to get the points. Join a head2head league becuase its easier than roto league (which is better for baseball becuase there are better stats). In a head2head league, you just have to get more points than your opponent for that week. In order to get points, your players have to do well. usually only offensive players are used. QB, RB, WR, TE, and Kickers. Then the whole defense of one team and special team (on kickoffs) are combined into a certain team's "Defense." You should have have one or two defenses.
