Should I transfer to another University?

Can I transfer to another university to play different sport and play that year without sitting out?

I already run track for a D1 university thats in Sunbelt conference but I want to transfer to another D1 university thats in USA conference because I don't wont to run anymore I wanna play basketball. Will I have to sit out a year if I transfer to this other D1 college. I know I have to get a full release first but I want to know can I go straight in and play or sit out and year?
Answer:

No unless you have a good reason your request will be denyed and you will have to sit a year .and if you have to wait it wouldnt be that bad you would be able to work on ur skills and improve
