How to play march madness tournament basketball?

Some of my friends recently asked me if i want to join a March madness tournament for a $10 fee. The thing is i have no idea how to play. I know everything about basketball but i havent really kept up this year, but anyway, i have no idea how march madness tourny is played or the rules. I dont want to look stupid. Can someone explain it to me? Also is march madness tournament for college basketball or nba?

You picked teams in college to advance in rounds. Each round the point amount increases if you have the most points or the most team correctly picked you win. You should do it. Just pick mostly the top seeds. Hope this helps
