What's better, Kobe's 81 point performance or Dwayne Wade's 34.7ppg Finals MVP performance?
-
Wade's finals mvp performance is alot better... His performance was in the nba finals(the biggest stage of them all), his first two games in the finals he was sick and still ended up with a 34.7ppg%(you rarely see a ppg average that high in the finals), that performance won him his first championship & finals mvp(finals mvp, something Kobe never won), Kobe never had a NBA Finals series or a playoff series that great(if so, then prove it & show stats) and the fact that if Kobe could trade that 81 point performance for that 34.7 finals mvp performance he would. Wade's performance is going to be held in honor(A Finals MVP Champion): Kobe's performance is going to be looked up & looked down on(some people bragging on it & some people are saying it's because he's a ball-hog).

Answer:
Winning a title, playing well for an entire series, and carrying your team is always better than a 1 game performance against the raptors Ask Wilt if he'd rather have the 100 point game or the celtics titles

Kobe's 81. It's the second highest total in NBA history. It's a rare achievement. Wade was off the hook in the finals but it is a lot more easy to reproduce than getting 81 points in an entire game.

HATER!!!! Get off Kobes NUTS..all your questions are anti Kobe...Get A Life!!
Hi
Kobe's 81 points. Wade had 20+ free throws per game from game three on. It was a free throwing fest. There's nothing special about that unless you're judging the official's ability to influence the game. Kobe's 81 points was shot after amazing shot.

Definitely Kobe. Players have averaged 30 points in the Finals before, but only one player has scored more points than Kobe. The 81 points was one of the greatest sports performances of all time.

Definitely Kobe's 81 points, events like this happen every 50 years. Finals MVP's are supposed to average big numbers, and 34.7 is still lower than Kobe' REGULAR season average. What Kobe did was extraordinary, what Wade did was nothing special, especially since he spent most of the Finals at the free throw line due to ridiculous foul calls.

Neither, they were both products of ballhogging. Kobe was against the worst team in the league. Dwayne had the ball the entire time and shot 40 percent.

i think it's really unfair and utterly improbable to truly measure which performance is better.. you have to look not only at the variables, but also the circumstances.. first, they are both spectacular feats.. Dwyane Wade literally carried his squad through that tough Dallas defense, and he really is the reason why the Heat are defending champs.. i personally think that Dwyane's heroics came out because of the odds; Shaq was a non-factor, and the rest of the team was clueless.. he blossomed in the finals, and matured light years in a span of six games.. that finals performance is why people now think he's as good as LeBron, which is a huge fallacy.. as good as Wade is, he's not LBJ good.. but i'm not putting down that show in the finals.. (also, for the record, i've been a huge fan of Wade's since his Marquette days, and i really really hate how a lot of people jumped on the band wagon after Shaq left LA for South Beach..) meanwhile, there's the Mamba and his 81 points.. now, i admit, this question really bothers me, because i think it's an excuse to hate on Kobe's feat.. Wade had six games, while Kobe had one.. in that game in LA, if you saw it, they were down by as much as 18 points, and Bryant doesn't have 81 if not for that sense of urgency that was needed at that particular time.. he also had a different type of supporting cast - Lamar wasn't as consistent as he is now, Luke Walton was the last thing that would come to mind if you would look for a third scoring option, and there was no Vlad Radmanovic, Mo Evans or Jordan Farmar.. meaning, the Laker team at that time looked for Bryant to pull them out of the ditch, against the Raptors.. the Lakers were so bad, that it took Kobe a superman effort to win that game.. people who say that it was a ball-hogging move apparently has no idea what the intricacies of basketball are these days.. even if someone hogs the ball, it's not that easy to just score the way Bryant can compared to anyone in the League, including Dwyane Wade.. just look at the numbers - 55 second hand points (single-handedly outscoring the raptors), 27 in the third, 28/46 from the field, 7/13 from three, and 18 of 20 from the line.. he was extremely efficient in his shots, going over 50% in field goal percentage.. but like i said, you cannot and should not compare these two things.. they're different.. the situations were different, as well as the players who shone..
