none of em mentioned Lebron or Wade or Durant... prolly because Kobe and Melo are the two best scorers in the NBA, but Kobe is just a much better defender than Melo, so Kobe kinda wins that battle. I'm not asking IS it there fave. matchup, I'm asking WHY! I saked this Q. earlier, all of em answered 'desagree', thats not what I asked!! both Kobe and melo have said it loud and clear!! --> Kobe's fave. player to go up against is carmelo anthony, and Melo's fave. player to play against is Kobe!! they said it. why do you think that??

Maybe it's because Melo at the time and really still is one of the only players in the Western Conference that can at least attempt to go shot for shot with him. It provides Kobe with a challenge which is something he rarely sees.
