Is a chef carreer a good carreer?

What present day MLB lineup has the most carreer HRs? Totally random question.?

  • Let me clarify a little bit, i was wondering where could i find the stat of "The Most Carreer Homeruns by a line up overall?" Kind of like adding all the carreer HRs in a present team's lineup. I don't know where this had came up but it just popped into my head just now and i'm beginning to get curious...

  • Answer:

Currently I would imagine it would be the White Sox (Thome, Griffey, etc.) or the Yankees (A-Rod, Giambi, etc.) I'll crunch some numbers and will return with a better answer. edit: For the most all time unless somebody can prove otherwise, I'll present the 2005 Yankees with their totals at the end of the season. C: Jorge Posada 175, 1B: Tino Martinez 339, 2B: Mark Bellhorn 61, SS: Derek Jeter 169, 3B: Alex Rodriguez 429, OF: Gary Sheffield 449, OF: Ruben Sierra 306, OF: Bernie Williams 275, DH: Jason Giambi 313 TOTAL=2516 For 2008 the Yankees (if only they would have signed Barry Bonds): C: Ivan Rodriguez 295, 1B: Jason Giambi 396, 2B: Robinson Cano 62, SS: Derek Jeter 206, 3B: Alex Rodriguez 553, OF: Johnny Damon 183, OF: Bobby Abreu 241, OF: Hideki Matsui 112, DH Richie Sexson 306 TOTAL=2354 The 2008 White Sox have 2290 homers.
