[ Q ] When your team has been eliminated from the playoffs, do you still watch the playoffs to the bitter end?

I watch EVERY playoff game, every year. Even when our Cardinals aren't in it. Baseball postseason is the best season of the year.

Eh, not really. Last year after the ALCS I wasn't too interested in watching the Rays and Phillies. I would read about the games in the paper, but I just didn't watch them. Back in 2006 I vaguely remember watching the Yankees lose to the Tigers. Since I don't have a second team or a NL team, I'm just not in to watching the playoffs if the Sox aren't in them.

I still watched all the games last year....just not as intently & with no passion really. I was simply pulling for the Phils in the WS because I thought then & now that the Rays were a fluke & didnt deserve to be there....this year has only proven that more so!

I watch, because as a Mets fan who have a poor playoff history, and a lover of baseball, I enjoy viewing the sport(games). My heart may not be in it, but again, I enjoy the game.

A "sad day" is when my team is eliminated from the playoffs. The saddest day is when the last out of the baseball season is recorded. If baseball is being played...there is a good chance I'm watching it.

I always watch the playoffs and World Series, but the interest level just isn't there. This year, I'll root for the Cardinals, no way can I get into rooting for the Phillies, Yankees, or Dodgers. When my team is in, I'm usually at all home games.

Yes I do,look at last year they were close but they didn't make it so I would watch playoffs to the "bitter" end because it's still baseball isn't it..and there's still celebrations! so I would keep watching it and watching it to the cold bitter end :)

Focus goes down a bit for me for sure...definitely watch all World Series games though. Usually will pick a team to root for (i.e. whoever is playing the Yankees, typically). Love baseball wayyyyyy to much to give up watching just because the Rockies didn't make the playoffs.

Well last year I didn't really watch any of the games, I was too depressed! Like you said, theres nothing to get exited about. I'll wach it if it's on, but I don't get into it.
