I think to eradicate corruption we would have to start thinking in a more idealistic way. Instead of thinking in terms of how we perceive the world as it is,we would need to start thinking of the world as we would like it to be. Instead of thinking of how to benefit ourselves in the short term,we could learn to think of benefiting everybody in the long term. It would have to be an entirely new way of thinking for everybody,an entirely different world.

Corruption can be eradicated only Every one is sincere in performing duties ethically & legally. One should avoid short cut to get things done. Short cut method is exercised by citizen only due to abnormal delay by the Government machinery. In fact they delay only to induce the people to fall prey for corruption. In many government authoritative posts, there are discretionary powers to show compassion towards a deserving case, but the same is exercised only to make money. Hence these discretionary powers are to be abolished. There should be accountability to all men in power for their misuse. Hence only attitude of respecting the norms and adhering honestly can help to eradicate corruption.

The day every human has an internal ethical code like mine. Paradise, this planet would be. Answer: Ethics, my friend, not much more to it. Oh, or if God existed, he could do something about it, but since he doesn't, let you be the person to respect for being the one who took the first step to creating a corruption free earth. We all need to do it though in order to actually achieve it. I've done it, will you? The point is, try not to lie, its the worse thing you can do, before murder. Because in the sense of human history, lying has murdered more humans than any other human trait, I believe.
