Do you think dreams are a message from some higher source?

Do you think our mind could use dreams to tell us something?

  • Do you think our dreams are just random scenes played out in our mind..or..do you think dreams could be trying to convey a message to us?..I have had the same dream too many times for me to just dismiss it completely..I actually dread having the dream again..It is not a nightmare, but, I would love it if I could make it go away! I know I am asking in the wrong category, but, if you have any answer that might help I would appreciate it very much...

  • Answer:

You might try lucid dreaming... I know that if you take the dream apart there is a lesson to be learned... if not several lessons. When you have learned them you will no longer need to have that dream, and it will go away. You can give yourself the permission to show you the lessons of the dreams as well... this too is a part of Lucid dreaming. ME! .

I don't think that your mind can tell you something you already don't know.. When you dream your subconscious thoughts are running abound with endless possibilities. The odds just say that you will experience something you've dreamed of because you dream of so much. However, the greatest message that I've gotten from my dreams and dreams in general.. is that there are other realities and possibilities available to me other than what I experience during the day. This gives me hope.

Sure - so much of our brain goes "unused" that it is very likely to be dreaming up something important. It's up to us to pay attention when it does. The fact that you have had the same dream more than once must mean it's pretty important, but what? Have you tried to decipher what it means beyond the feeling of 'dread' you mentioned? Once you get to the bottom of its meaning for you, and are okay with it, chances are your brain will stop bugging you with it. Blessings on your discoveries!

I think dreams are very important and should be listened to. Who knows us better than ourselves? It IS our own mind that creates our dreams, after all. We shouldn't ignore our own mind. :)

Maybe youre concerned about something, or obsessed with something or just trying to forget something, then the dream reminds you of it. It can also be possible that you await something excitedly , so you cant get it out of your head. I sometimes dream of things ive forgotten a long time ago. But often, its just random scenes or a mix of things that were around you lately.

your dreams are your minds way of sorting out the problems in life-this particular dream you seem to be running from should be embraced -it will do two things for you one it will likely end this dream from coming back -two there is a part of your mind that fears confronting this dream -you will be stronger afterward-it may also solve a life problem that you may not be aware of but your mind is--good luck-

I've had dreams such that can't be dismissed as "random scenes played out in our mind!" Its tough sorting through the mess...and tell which has a specific message and which ones are like noise in the phone lines. Most of the time their meaning strikes us AFTER their realisation...Yes, some of my impossible dreams have come true after a year or more! It may seem hard to believe for those who seldom dream...but I believe that's whole world waiting to be explored...A big mystery as of now!
