Is being a scientist AND a creationist a form of intellectual cross-dressing?
-
Answer:
Creationism is anti-intellectual. Those so called scientists are really just bible college graduates. I bet the cost of books at a bible college are a lot cheaper than a real college. One old book.

I think not, im a physics major who believes in god. I believe that god created the universe scientifically and explained it in a way that ancient man could understand. That way was not the word for word correct way, but a more or less ish right way. the order of events is more or less correct, day 1 and day 2 are all metaphors.

LOL! Is answering a question that way an answer ? A Stephen Hawking quote currently on display in the New York City subway system (paraphrasing): "The deeper we go into the study of the Universe, more and more patterns are revealed which would indicate a profound and basic order -- an order which may or may not imply some divine intelligence at work." And, also from S.H: "God not only plays dice, He also sometimes throws the dice where they cannot be seen.”

Well... if I had to give fashion points I suppose one could make an argument for the slight edge going to the Creationists part, for the use of color....... but their "clothes" are so ill-fitting it is remarkable that they can be worn at all! Then again, I suppose it all depends on where they are worn... I was going to say Halloween, but then thought it better not to say it. :-)

Not at all. There have been many fine books written by people that started out to DISPROVE God, but the more they studied and learned, and studied patterns and odd things in SCIENCE.........the more CONVINCED they became, that a GOD *HAD* to exist, for any of this to be here at all, much less in any working order. Certain numbers that repeat an incredible amount of times, in many different things, cannot possibly be pure coincidence. We may not ever understand the SIGNIFIGANCE of the numbers or the ratio's......but we have found them.........they exist, they are there, and its too weird, to mean absolutely nothing.

No. Asking the question was a form of intellectual cross-dressing.
