What is The Lord Prayer?

In the 60s there existed a scientists version of either the Lord's Prayer or another prayer. What is it?

• I think it appeared in a SF book, a science fiction book by Asimov or some other SF writer of that era (Arthur C. Clarke?). It was supposedly something, that was really spoofed and was used in a SF novel. It could have been another prayer altogether, but I think it was the Our Father. I think it went something like this: Our Scientistis who art in Science heaven, give us our daily science, forgive us our miscalculations, as you have done with Einstein and Newton, don't lead us in to temptation of early publication, etc. I hope you get the picture, and that you can help me! Bugging me for some years now.

  I am not positive this is what you are seeking but it is the Lord's prayer for Christian Scientists (the religious group). "Our Master said, 'After this manner therefore pray ye,' and then he gave that prayer which covers all human needs. . . . Our Father-Mother God, all-harmonious, Hallowed be Thy name. Adorable One. Thy kingdom is come; Thou art ever-present. Enable us to know, -- as in heaven, so on earth, -- God is omnipotent, supreme. Give us grace for to-day; feed the famished affections; And Love is reflected in love; And God leadeth us not into temptation, but delivereth us from sin, disease, and death. For God is infinite, all-power, all Life, Truth, Love, over all, and All.
