Whats the difference between a piano and a keyboard?

  • Is a piano harder to play? If you already know how to play the keyboard will it be easier to learn how to play the piano? Are their more keys on a piano? How do you change the volume of the sound produced by a piano? Which do you prefer? Has anyone started playing the keyboard then switched to the piano? If so how long did it take you to learn how to play the piano? Thanks!

    keyboard is electrical, quite mobile you pick them up, you can get more than one type of sound from them by going into the menus = easier to play because the keys are light pianos are big and wooden and not electrical, you have to tune them manually, they have strings inside = its harder to play because the keys are heavier, the harder you hit a piano key the loader it will be, i think pianos sound better but are usually way more expensive and take up a lot of room in your house
