Help w/ chemistry(combined gas law)? Help w/ chemistry(combined gas law)? Please show me the steps. Correct the volumes of the following gases as indicated a. 51.7 cm^3 at 27 degrees celsius and 90.9 kPa to STP b. 14.6 m^3 at -12 degrees Celsius and 78.6kPa to 35 degrees celsius and 107 kPa.

Answer:
STP = 273 K and 1.00 atm (101.3 kPa) The combined gas law is: P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2 You must use T in kelvins. a. P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2 90.9 kPa x 51.7 cm^3 / 300 K = 101.3 kPa x V2 / 273 K V2 = (90.9 kPa x 51.7 cm^3 x 273 K ) / (300 K x 101.3 kPa) V2 = 42.2 cm^3 b. P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2 78.6 kPa x 14.6 m^3 / 261 K = 107 kPa x V2 / 308 K V2 = (78.6 kPa x 14.6 m^3 x 308 K) / (261 K x 107 kPa) V2 = 12.7 m^3
