How would earth and life on earth be different if water were a non polar molecule?

There would be no life as we know it, because water would be in the gaseous state.

Polarization is the ability to repel or attract. It is either negative or positive. Every molocule has both north & south poles; but what makes it negative or positve is the in-balance. Non-polarization is a term wherebye the reading is inn balance only in referance to an enviroment that has a reading of an exact opposite. In the equation that a=1 is -a= -1. There would be no difference in life on Earth since life exist in both the negative or positive.

WATER IS POLAR. because it is polar.. *it gives a surface tension (one you fell when making a belly flop) *when water freezes, its density is less, which make ice floats, and insulates the lower part of the ocean, without this, oceans will freeze solid and ano life will exist on earth. *it forms hydrogen bonds which is vital to certain macromolecules.. *gives water a high boiling point (in other words, water resists temperature change) *water's polarity makes water a solvent.. AND MUCH MORE no life is water were non polar molecules

what if it were water vapor and you could drink from the air or something? although could that rule out oxyen. i don't really know other answer are probably better.

That's a pretty stupid question... the simple answer is... IT CAN'T It's almost as ridiculous as saying "what if hitler had killed jesus?". It's just not something that could ever happen, and if it had happened, we surely wouldn't be around to speculate about it.

Earth's entire ecosystem relies on the ocean current and the consistency of it which holds a stable balance in our atmosphere.. It is what produces life.. an makes it stabilized.. So without that you would have couple of thoughts.. if water was still on the ground and it had atmospheric pressures.. all life would look more different perhaps only Uni-sex or the life pattern of the creatures would be more abstract.. Or there wouldn't be any life at all.. considering the whole balance of the positive an negative abstracts would be gone.. not too sure though.. cause water.. is the base of all life.. a significant change in the water.. could change our appearance.. amongst the way we act/see/live/breed in life.. small type of a Uni-sex race would be.. we would be more like a plant.. we would bud.. an shed eggs or something like eggs.. mainly cause the whole significants of sex and mating started at when life.. was ONLY single celled organisms like nucleais.. and without a polar chain.. to balance at.. or to gain attribute to the positive an negative abstract.. it would be possible life would only have a One polar chain.. causeing Uni sex.. strange huh? I get the idea from.. that life.. always gains attributes FROM everything around it.. an for instance.. IF the planet was a life form/being the trees would be its lungs, the seismic activity or volcanic core.. would be the heart and blood stream.. but that is mainly JUST a reference OF HOW life gains attributes by everything CORRESPONDING around it.. hope some of that helped
