Are ghosts real?is there any reason to be afraid of ghosts?

  • to me there is no such thing as belief. i don't believe in anything. to me, things are either true or false/fact or fiction. are all these ghosts on tape just hoaxes. therefore it's obvious that I'm only afraid of ghosts because I don't know if they are real or not. so my question is- if ghosts are real then what are they made of? are they matter? but how can something that is not matter exist in a universe composed of matter? what is the truth?

    There are spirits. BUT they are not out to hurt you. In the TV and movie industry the producers/directors, etc have one thing in mind to make money. So what they do is they play on peoples fears and say there are bad ghosts. GHOSTS are not bad. Don't forget ghosts are people who once lived and when they are earth bound it is only because they are here on unfinished business. My father died 24 years ago and he sometimes visits me, my mom, and then he goes to my sisters to see her, and to see my brother-in-law and their two children. DONT be afraid of ghosts. If you ever come in contact with a ghost it is because they want to make sure you are ok, or warn you of something. Again keep in mind when there are scary ghosts on TV it is only because the producers/directors want to make money

ghosts r human beings not living in physical bodies they r just like u and me and they r like people everywhere they can be friendly scary smart..some ghosts may have a message to send o people living in physical world and some may be unaware their dead and staying close to familiar surrounding...but u have nothing to fear from a ghost despite what Hollywood horror films would have us believe

Are they real? Yes. Do you have a reason to fear them? No. Do they hurt people? They can and they have but, it is very, very rare. Most people fear ghosts because they are dead people that haven't left. What are they? The popular consensus is that they are electo-magnetic energy, we all have it, spent from the body at the time of death and goes into the atmosphere. The intelligence goes with it. Energy is everlasting, it never goes away it just changes form. Some times this energy is absorbed into surfaces and under different atmospheric conditions are released again in a visible form like a movie clip being replayed over and over again. This is known as a residual haunting. It has no intelligence at all, it has no awareness of people's presence. Like I said, it's like a movie. This type of haunting is the one people are most likely to see. If you approach it, it disappears. Intelligent hauntings are seldom seen but, they let you know they are there and try to communicate. Depends of your religious situation, a christian is not afraid, and they r sure that spirits are around us. In my personal opinion you create the ghosts with your mind.... and the can not hurt you if you control your fear
