heat lost by metal = 64.1 x specific heat ( 28.06 - 96.77)= - 4404 x specific heat heat gained by water = 52.12 x 4.184 ( 28.06 - 24.04)=876.6 J heat lost + heat gained =0 - 4404 x specific heat + 876.6 = 0 specific heat = 0.1991 J/g°C
