Organic Chemistry Lab Help?
-
I need to know how to separate an organic mixture of 4 g benzoic acid, 2 g trimyristin, and 2 g aniline and turn it into benzoic acid, trimyristin and crystalline acetanilide. I'm only allowed to use ether, HCl/NaOH, acetic anhydride in the lab (no heating mantle or hot plates allowed due to ether). Also, what techniques would I use? Thanks Alot!!!
