Does mens rogaine really work?

I heard a story once about a woman whose husband was using rogain and she slept with her cheek on his pillow. When she woke up she had a beard on that side of her face. Don't know how true that is, but it may be worth looking in to!

Rogaine has been studied extensively. It works on baldness that is less than 4 inches in diameter, baldness that is less than 10 years old and baldness in which there are hairs that are present in the center of the bald area. 44 % will grow hair. The treatment is topical and 1cc is applied to the dry head twice a day. Avoid getting the head wet or application has to be reapplied, I believe if it is going to work, you should notice a small change in 1-2 months. It blocks the hormone responsible for male pattern baldness and was discovered accidentally because it was called Minoxidil and used as a antihypertensive pill.
