I'm 50 yrs old and grossley out of shape. Whats a good starting workout , running sit ups?

walking, that will help. swimming would also be good. after you work out regularly for a couple of months then you can get into the more serious stuff like running

Well I would start out slow start walking and sit ups are a good Idea. Then I would move to bike riding that is best because it used more mucsles. I have had to run for years and I have found it's not good for your knees bike riding is better. crunches are better then sit ups because it works more of your abs

start walking that is the best exercise and you can walk to start for 20 moinutes a day and every day add 5 more mins drink plenty of water.

Walking should be your first exercise, make sure you start doing some stretches and warm ups. Good luck.

Start slowly, and realize that exercise needs to become part of your life -- not just something you do for now to lose weight. Walking your dog (if you have one), is a great way to begin.
