it's not really about where these people are from; it's about contributions that certain individuals have made to these fields. Also, you are incorrect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nobel_laureates_by_country go to this link; you'll see that there have been 10 Nobel Prizes in the sciences awarded to Chinese scientists since 1956. Also, 5 since 1902 awarded to Indians in science/medicine. You should really research this stuff before getting heated.

Actually, about 99.99999% of the world's people did not win Nobel prizes. They aren't awarded to countries, but to individuals. You're thinking of the Olympics.
