Who is the easiest male to marry on Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility?

I am a guy on one file and married Candace. She was fairly easy to marry considiring her favorite thing was sold right next door at the Clinic!(Herbal Tea). So i am going after Owen but it is hard for me. I have gone for him since the day i started playing but i only have 2 HEARTS!!. So i need help! And everone says he is easy!

To marry Owen give him cocktails,rice cakes,gems,and refined ores. Also He will take gold and silver ores. When he have 2 hearts he'll give you a white wonderful. When he have 4 hearts he'll give you a ruby,he'll also ask you on a date to the Sundae Inn,and if it's a couple festival he'll ask to go with you (talk to him).Talking to him helps.
