When did the Philippines introduced Color TV?

  • OK, I need to know the correct date and don't bother go to Wikipedia because it has wrong information. They say that it was July 20,1974 on PBC channel which did not exist ever and they say that it uses PAL but Philippines uses NTSC. I know that it was June 1966 on ABS-CBN but I don't know the exact date and when did they start broadcasting in full-color. They say it was 1987 but I don't think so because during the late-70s BBC2(ABSCBN), GMA7, KBS9(RPN/CS9) and IBC13 were already showing TV shows in color. Im not sure with GTV4/MBS(NBN) Well I ask you this so I can edit Wikipedia with proof and no one can revert it because most of the editors argue with me in terms of editing it. Please answer it

    I would say commercial television station in 1953, the first color television in 1967, and satellite breakthrough in 1969.
