    You can read about the battle in the attached wiki article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Fallen_Timbers The victors were the US but they lost 33 men killed compared to the losers' 19 (Native Americans) killed. After their victory the US destroyed many Native American villages and crops. A red 2c US postage stamp issued in 1929 commemorates the victory. The decisive victory for the US led to the signing of the Treaty of Greenville in 1795 which ceded much of Ohio to the US.
