What does love and being in love whats the difference?

  • How do you know if a guy is inlove with you. My bf says he loves me but get confused what IN love means. Can someone help me explain what what.

    love is like you care about someone like friends and even boy/girl friends and moms and dads, relatives you love those people in love is when you are in love with them saying 'i love you' is something your mom can say to you, it isnt sexual or meaning your attracted to one another, you just really care for the person you love but saying 'im in love with you' is that you know their in love with you like jack and rose love lol i tried to explain

In a way they are the same thing but Love is wanting to please someone else even if you it hurts you. When people refer to being in love they are usually just infatuated. It is shallow love caused by hormones and usually has problems. This is why so many young people have problems with this because they haven't not learned the difference from deeply loving someone and being obsessed with someone.
