Can you walk up a hill both ways?

How can u walk up hill both ways?

  • Answer:

You forgot how deep the mud or snow was, and remember, it was always either raining or snowing. Parents are awesome though, aren't they. A good parent can do just about anything you can imagine.

Gravity was a lot rougher on our parents.

well if you come up one side you obviously have to go down the other side and if the hill is in the way then they have to walk up (and down) both ways.....

Older people lived in a time where the ground on Earth hadn't quite settled yet. EXMPL: City is divided into 2 points, Point A(School), and Point B(Home). At 7:00AM(Common start time for school) point A is higher than point B, making the travel from B to A uphill. During the day point A would sink, making the travel at 3:00PM(or when schools commonly let out) from point A to point B uphill as well. They might just be trying to guilt you into doing something by telling you that when they were young, it was much harder.

Walk forward for a bit, then turn around and walk backward.

Your parents were exagerating. The only way to walk up hill both ways going to school would be to take a different route to school as they did going home, one of which would have to be at least partially down-hill. With bussing it's possible to walk uphill getting on and off the bus if the bus picks up at the top of a hill and drops you off at the bottom. (My bus did that in High School, only it was downhill both ways.)
