Nous les avons envahi sous Louis XIV. Nous avons essayé d'exporter la révolution chez eux après 1789. Nous sommes aujourd'hui partenaires au sein de l'Union européenne.

to be simple; we have spent 2000 years to be invaded by the same enemies, to make wars,to invade and massacre each other, to make peace, to make war and massacre again and at the end we decided to be united in the European Union in order to have fun of others countries like Australia ALLEZ FRANCE !!!!!!

Hum????? From a amazed Frenchman.... You surely know that this region has got a huge common history, just look at the Napoleonian period... But I don't see the interest of that question, that's as bad as this... Look at the French Trivia, and you'll see much more better things!!! But... Well... I give you a star... I'm a Prince, after all :) Kisses from The {bilingual??? Ahum...} Pianist

They came quite a lot of time spreading desolation across our fields and our villages during the last 1000 years... Nothing positive, always trying to invade us, to bring their "human rights declaration" views in the period 1794-1798 (During the French period in Belgium, people didn't had the right to practize their religion, had to pay tributes... that was their view of liberty... for a region that had liberty constitutions since the 13th century, it was quite strange and disappointing) This is my view, as a Belgian loving and cherishing my History.
