Who really invented color tv?

• Ok so right now I'm watching The Wizard of Oz (one of my fave movies). Its the original version, its in color and it was made in 1939. Online it says that a Guillermo Gonzales Camarena invented it in the 50's but how's that possible? I looked it up more and it said that color tv was ACTUALLY invented by John Loige Biard?? Someone please explain to me why is color tv claimed by two people?
