What can I do with a bachelors degree in engineering management?

If I have by Bachelors degree in Management, can I get my Masters in Electrical Engineering?

  • I have my B.S. in Technical Management but would like to pursue a career in Engineering however, I do not want to have to go to school for another bachelors.

  • Answer:

Sorry, not really. The courses taken in a B.A. in Management wouldn't even cover the requirements for lower division EE (Calculus 1, 2, 3, differential equations, linear algebra, physics 1, 2, 3, programming, circuits, etc.). EE is one of the most rigorous fields of engineering and without a strong understanding of the concepts you will be totally clueless.

I doubt it. The undergraduate program in EE was more rigorous than the graduate program in the universities I attended. Therefore, it would seem to me to be virtually impossible to jump into an EE grasuate school without all of the undergraduate EE courses.
