Why is not possible yet to watch tv online?

  • WHY IS IT NOT POSSIBLE YET TO WATCH TV ONLINE? common sence say that phone lines shouldnt be that slower then EMF, or the cables can be made in such a way that they wouldnt be slower.

Not all people have the same type of internet connection and plus ther speed of bandwith decreases as the distance increasing. Further Net penetration isnt that big considering the TV. Remember when you just had 2 channels on the TV?

We need two things: better video compression, and higher bandwidth. Until we can watch TV online that is not a little tiny low-rez box in WMP, then no one will convert.
