Is petroleum engineering a good career?

im not a math person but i like working with petroleum and chemicals and i'll work my but off in math if possible. any comments

The majority of what a petroleum engineer does involves math. They don't go out and actually drill oil wells. Others do that. If you don't enjoy math then you need to consider something else.

It depends. If you want to go abroad and drill into some of the biggest oil fields in the world such as Alaska/Canada, the Middle East, etc., then go for it.
