Just because a school has an engineering program DOES NOT mean that it is accredited. An accredited engineering program is one that is approved, monitored, and certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). If you want to be able to work as an engineer, or take your EIT and PE exam for that matter, you will have to have a diploma from an ABET accredited program.
