How does a radio transmitter work?

How does a radio transmitter work?

  • Answer:

It is basically an oscillator of any frequency ...... crystal controlled or variabe or synthesized.... which is then amplified and finally given whatever power is needed in the Final RF Output stage. That can go from Milli Watts to as high as Mega Watts. A transmitter (the Carrier frequency) is usually modulated with either AM (Amplitude Modulation) or FM (Frequency modulation), pulsed RF etc.
