Can I use a U.S. electronic product in Malaysia? Do I need to get a converter?
-
I'm planning to get the Epson Perfection V700 PHOTO scanner from the U.S. because it is not available for sale yet in Malaysia. But I'm concern with the different power voltage used in both countries. The voltage for the U.S. is AC100-120V while Malaysia has a higher voltage of AC220-240V. Will I be able to use the scanner in Malaysia by getting a converting device? Will this then affect the performance of the scanner?

Answer:
Yes, the specification for its input power is Voltage: AC100 - 120V, Frequency: 50 - 60hz, Power Consumption: 32W
