I'm a civil engineering graduate, about to start a job in civil engineering paying £23750 a yar. That's about £12 an hour. I think the average wage for a university engineering graduate is about £22k a year, about £11 an hour. That will of course go up with experience. In 5 year's time I should be on at least £30k.
