What scope does civil engineering has in future and what scope is for a student studying in NIT in india?

i want to what civil engineering can do in current year in india and abroad. does a civilengineer get a chance to go abroad

see in india only mechanical,civil & electricasl engg are the main streams.now a days if you are BE(CIVIL) then starting salary or package will be 5lac pa in india.

You can try ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAM conducted by UPSC or state service boards for govt. jobs. You can join teaching line in an Engineering college after M.Tech or P.Hd. You can become a consultant, environmentalist, structural engineer or a builder. You can try for P.O. or private sector jobs. You can also become software developer & go abroad if you want.
