What are some tips for a succesful internship interview?

Tips for an intern position interview at Honeywell?

• I talked to a Honeywell employee at a career fair at my university. He offered me an interview for Thursday. I really want an internship. I think he liked the way I interpreted his job at the moment. I tried to decipher how the classes i've taken so far could apply to his job. So he told me there's no openings in his section for interns, but he set up an on campus interview for me for a different mechanical engineering section. Any tips on what to expect at this interview? Also, i'm in college and I don't have a nice suit or anything. Is a shirt, tie, and pants sufficient? Can I wear the same shirt and tie I wore at the career fair? Will they notice?

  Hope I'm not answering this too late. A nice dress shirt and tie is fine. Shake hands, make Eye contact and be honest people can tell I your lying and they want someone who will be up front with them. If the guy at the career fair refered you for the interview he liked you so just do what you did with him. If your worried about what he'll ask google common interview questions. Good luck
