Is it possible that i can build my own Iron Man suit?

Did iron man inspire anyone to build a suit lol?

• it did me, i so wanna just make a suit like that now buts it impossible to make an exoskeleton suit as hi-tech as that. Or is it possible to build one similar maybe but maybe without flight

  Actually, more than likely the Ironman "suit" has been inspired by some real ongoing projects, most of which are military in nature. There are actually some ongoing, and ongoing for several years at this point. projects for use by the military. the concept of exoskeleton suits that give strength, speed and power to a human being have been around for a long time. There are currently projects that have non-classified information regarding them available. These projects have been in existance at least since the Ronald Regan presidency days. These systems utilize robotics, environmental control systems, and networing systems to provide information, protection, weapons systems and incredible speed and strength to someone wearing the suit. And no, at this point in time they can not make you fly! These suits have been eluded to in many fictional books, most noteworthy some of the Tom Clancy novels. And indeed, the ideas for these "stories" probably came from his deep research into upcoming military R&D projects that were projected at the time. Although you don't yet see any of these things on teh news when we see a soldier in Iraq, tak enote of some of the equipment and uniforms that you do see on the news, and some of the helmet attached gadgets and body armor that you might not be paying attention too. Despite all the talk about not providing armor and proper equipment to these guys, they really do have the best possible stuff to work with, and lots of it is severely high tech.
