How can i use an digital alarm clock as a switch?

• i wanna make a automatic bird feeder,i used to feed my birds at a particular time daily.so i decided to use my digital alarm clock ,but i'm not able to use it,how can i use it as a switch

  Set the alarm. Whatever makes the alarm noise will be receiving an electrical signal. You need to identify and measure that, then arrange that signal to do what you wish. You can then disconnect the noise maker. It depends on what that signal is, as to how you need to do this. Your feeder would need to be a "1 shot", just release a set amount of seed when the alarm signal is on. The alarm would need to be settable for "every day", and would need to shut off automatically after a period.
