What does it take to be a Biomedical engineer?

What classes should I take next year? aspiring Engineer?

  • I'm currently a Highschool Junior and am registering for Senior classes. I am an aspiring engineer and would like to know which classes would give me an edge for getting into a good engineering program in college I must take 2 humanities classes and can take 6 classes total; These are classes i was considering AP gov/econ AP Lit AP Physics AP Chem AP Computer Science Multivariable Calculus AP Stats AP Spanish

  • Answer:

Since you only list 3 courses that I would call humanities, AP gov/econ AP Lit AP Spanish, I would say definitely the Econ, and the other as you wish. Of the technical courses [inhumanities ?], AP Physics AP Chem AP Computer Science Multivariable Calculus AP Stats the question is then which not to take. Trouble is that they are all good courses for engineers. Any idea which engg discipline you want to pursue [CE, ChE, EE, ME, etc] ? Also look at the teacher quality for each course.... If one of the courses is taught by a bozo, scrag it. Definitely DO take the multivariable calc !
