Which is a better career option....chemical or civil engineering?

    i say civil ya. you will earn in millions and millions in this line. lot of earthquakes are going to take place in this earth ya. so it is like that. there loss of home or destruction of home will fetch you money and food for you in this civil line ya. so go for civil ya.

chemical, but you should really do what interests you Edit... I see a lot of people say civil. No offense to you guys, but civil engineers where I live (US) are a dime a dozen, meaning, they are easy to find, unless they _really_ excel at their profession and become a P.E. Good chemical engineers, on the other hand, are a rare find.

Both have very good opportunity, but in Civil more chances are there for you to do independently on your own also bsed on your personal contacts.
