What colleges are best for my major?

Which engineering has best future. Also which east coast colleges are best for each engineering major.?

• I am a senior in high school and am looking to major in some form of engineering. I am extremely interested in mechanical, chemical, nuclear and aerospace. However, choosing between these four engineering types is turning out to be difficult. Therefore, any current engineers whose expertise is in any of these four fields, I would like to ask if you could explain the positives and negatives of your field. Also any recommendations on east coast colleges would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Joe

  I am in school for mechanical engineering. I love it personally and is very very versatile. Mechanical can do aerospace engineering, but if you are interested in just aerospace go for it. Nuclear engineering seem really cool and I would love taking some of the classes. But I don't have much experience in chemE of nuclear engineering. Schools on the east coast...how about MIT?
