Simple Instrumentation Amplifier Application for Sensors?

  • Okay, so i have this project with the titlte 'Simple Instrumentation Amplifier Application for Sensors' basically i need to create a 'device' that demonstrate the use of instrumentation amplifier, my lecturer said i can use a simple circuit (for example, light detector, temperature, etc) however, i don't have any experience using an instrumentation amplifier, my lecturer told me to use a simple detector circuit that is using a non instrumentation amplifier (inverting amplifier, non-inverting amplifier, etc) and then switch the 'amplifier' with an instrumentation amplifier. any help on the circuit ? i think i'm going to make a light detector circuit but with an instrumentation amplifier --------------------------------------… anyway, i found this site (http://sensors.circuitlab.org/2011/05/op-amp-based-sound-detector-circuit.html) in that site, they used an 'inverting amplifier' for the circuit, can i somehow substitute the 'inverting amplifier' with an 'instrumentation amplifier' ? and how ? Thank you and God Bless you guys :) PS : i prefer light detector circuits :)

  • Answer:

First you will want to make a blue print like one of these: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_prop=image&fr=ush-mail&va=blueprint+of+instrumentation+amplifier Once you have a blue print it will be a lot easier to design your project.
