What to expect after graduating from Mechanical Engineering school?

What to expect in Electrical Engineering grad school?

  • I am approaching my last year of my undergrad at a small private university. I am a math major and have taken all the classes that matter (Calc 1-2-3, Diff Eq, Real Analysis, etc), and am about to send in applications for a master's program in Electrical Engineering. What kind of pace should I expect? I know I'll have to take a lot of undergrad classes to catch up, but I really don't want to be in grad school forever. Is it possible to work during the summers and finish within a few years? Also, how much easier (or difficult) will these EE classes be with my math know-how? Any advice is welcomed. Would prefer to get input from people who have had experience in this area. Thanks in advance!

  • Answer:

You should talk to a counselor or a representative from the school in order for you to know.
