Civil Engineering Jobs in New York or New Jersey?
-
Are there a lot of civil engineering jobs in New York or New Jersey, or are they harder to come by? I'm looking to relocate to NY, NJ, VA, NC, Florida, Texas, and Arizona. I hear that Texas will have the most jobs, in Houston and San Antonio.

Answer:
I don't know about NY or NJ or the others, but a bit about Texas... Many cities in Texas are growing extremely fast. Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas/Fort Worth are always on recent lists of fastest growing cities in the US. As a civil engineer, there is likely to be more work when new buildings, roads, etc are being built, as would likely be in a growing city.
