How to promote and advertise a mouse trap?

Mouse trap car problem, plz help!?

    Well for one thing, your wheels look heavy and are too thick - meaning there is too much surface area in contact with the floor = friction. You don't want that. Try mounting your car on CDs or something with a thin wall to eliminate friction. I am also going to guess your axels (and therefore wheels) are free to move meaning they arent fixed and have the possibility of floating back and forth. Based on your picture its pretty clear this is the case. This will create allot of friction as well and I'm willing to guess your car doesn't go straight. (Keep in mind a normal car - the axels and wheels are fixed, they just spin). If you don't have any length requirements on your car, search "mouse trap car" on the internet and notice how many cars are long and only have 3 wheels (tricycle). Making it long will give you the torque you need for a greater distance --- the torque being applied by an "arm" from the mouse trap to the rear axel. Hope this helps.
