Is engineering a good field to go for these days?

  • hey guys..... I am going to do my a levels shortly and i am confused about the subject combination to keep. I want to be an engineer but i want to know what is the scope of engineering these days? Will I be able to immigrate to another country and find a job there easily? Will I be able to find a well paid job? Are engineering jobs well paid?

i'm a second year eng student, before i decided what to do, i was really confused like you, but eng is not easy, it's five years of college here in lebanon and you'll get a starting pay of 1500$ per month. eng is found all around the world, besides, there are a lot of eng majors, i'm majoring in mechatronics engineering, i'll get to work on robotics someday, but if you're after money, civil engineering is gd, and yeah you can travel to work abroad.
